Dr. Don Bazal serves as Pumpkinvine Baptist Church's Senior Pastor [ 2015- present]. Prior to that, he served a number of churches throughout the Southeast as well as teaching in academic settings.

Pastor Don believes in strong, expositional preaching with application for daily living for believers and further growth in Christ.

Pastor Don holds an earned Master's Degree  from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice College and Seminary.  Both degrees have a strong emphasis in Old Testament.

Pastor Don has been happily married for 52 years to his wife, Kaye. They have 3 children and 10 grandchildren.

Michael has been a part of the Pumpkinvine Family for most of his life and has served in youth ministry in various capacities since 2008. He was appointed Pumpkinvine's Bi-vocational Youth Minister in November 2020. 

The attributes that best describe Michael as a youth minister are Caring, Courageous Leadership, and Empathetic. Michael takes worship and leadership very seriously and encourages the youth to become involved in the various ministries at Pumpkinvine.

He graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University in 2013 with a degree in Industrial Engineering and Business. 

Michael has been happily married for two years to his wife, Laura. They have 1 child, Luke.

Penny has been working in our church for over 16 years. She has been a part of the Pumpkinvine family since she was a young girl.

She has an Accounting Diploma from Chattahoochee Technical College.

Penny has been happily married for 36 years to her husband, Daren. They have 2 married daughters, Kara (Roman), Taylor (Cole) and 3 grandchildren, Kaylin, Liam & Matthew. 

Kaye has been leading our music ministry/choir for over 3 years.  Kaye has a Music Ministry degree (BMM) from The Baptist College of Florida and has served as  choir director in addition to planning and implementing the worship services in the local church.  She has a passion to lift up our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in worship.  

 Kaye has been happily married for 52 years to her husband Don, the Pastor. She has ministered alongside of Don in all the churches they have served in throughout their years of ministry.  She has taught Bible study classes and served in other administrative positions.  They have 3 children and 10 grandchildren.
